Nicholas Galitzine and Camila Mendes Join Younger Masters of the Universe Cast at UK Premiere

Camila Mendes and Nicholas Galitzine attended the UK premiere of the upcoming live-action film Masters of the Universe on Wednesday night, May 27, at Cineworld Leicester Square in London. The two stars walked the red carpet together as promotional efforts continued ahead of the movie’s theatrical release. Mendes wore an Anna October dress for the event.
The premiere also featured director Travis Knight, along with co-stars Charlotte Riley and James Purefoy, who portray Queen Marlena and King Randor. They were joined by younger cast members Eire Farrell and Artie Wilkinson-Hunt, who play the younger versions of Teela and Adam. Farrell previously appeared in Barbie in a small role, while Wilkinson-Hunt recently appeared in Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die as the AI Boy.
Masters of the Universe is based on the classic Mattel franchise and follows Prince Adam, played by Galitzine, after he is separated from the Sword of Power for 15 years. According to the official synopsis, the sword leads him back to Eternia, where he finds his home devastated under the rule of Skeletor, played by Jared Leto. To protect his family and save his world, Adam teams up with Teela, played by Mendes, and Duncan/Man-At-Arms, played by Idris Elba, before accepting his destiny as He-Man, described as the most powerful man in the universe.
The film is directed by Travis Knight and is positioned as an epic live-action adventure that brings the franchise back to theaters. The article notes that an official trailer has already been released, adding to the growing anticipation for the project.
