LCK Final Regular Season Showdown: Gen.G, T1 and kt Rolster Deadlocked at 12-4

Riot Games said the ninth week of the 2026 LCK regular season for League of Legends will be held from May 27 to May 31 at LoL PARK in Jongno-gu, Seoul, with the final stretch expected to play a decisive role in standings for the LCK MSI qualifier race.
Hanwha Life Esports is closest to clinching first place. With a 14-2 record, Hanwha Life can secure the top seed by defeating Gen.G on May 27, regardless of other results. The top two teams in the regular season will advance directly to the first-seed decider in the third round of the LCK MSI representative qualifiers, scheduled for June 12 at Wonju DB Promy Arena. The winner of that decider will earn LCK’s first-seed berth at MSI.
Gen.G, T1, and kt Rolster are all tied at 12-4 and are battling for third place, which offers a direct path to Wonju. Their matchup is one of the most important games of the week. The June 28 match between kt Rolster and T1 is especially notable as it could reshape the upper part of the standings. In addition to the team race, two players are approaching major career milestones: kt Rolster’s Moon Woo-chan, known as “Cuzz,” is nearing his 700th career game, while T1’s Moon Hyeon-joon, known as “Oner,” is close to his 500th.
The fight for sixth place is also intense because it marks the cutoff for the LCK MSI representative qualifiers. Hanwha Life currently sits sixth at 6-10, while Kiwoom DRX and BNK FEARX are both close behind at 5-11. The loser of the May 27 match between BNK FEARX and Kiwoom DRX will be eliminated from qualifier contention.
There is also a chance of tiebreaker matches if the top three teams finish the regular season with identical records. If needed, those tiebreakers for seeding will be played on June 2 at 5:00 PM at the LoL PARK Chzzk Arena.
All matches in the 2026 LCK regular season will be streamed live on online platforms including Chzzk and SOOP.
