Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein Address Dating Rumors: What They Said

Jennifer Lopez has shut down rumors that she is dating her Office Romance co-star Brett Goldstein, saying speculation about her love life follows her whenever she works closely with a male co-star. The singer and actress addressed the gossip during an appearance on Today on Tuesday, June 2, while promoting the new Netflix romantic comedy with Goldstein, best known for Ted Lasso.
When asked directly about their relationship, Lopez said that people often assume she is romantically involved with anyone she is seen with on set or during promotions. Goldstein joked that simply standing near her can lead to dating rumors. Savannah Guthrie pressed for a clearer response, but Lopez insisted the speculation was nothing new and said that, despite the chatter, the rumors were not true. Both stars made it clear that they are not dating.
The discussion followed reports from a source who said Lopez and Goldstein had a great time filming Office Romance and shared strong on-screen chemistry. The source also suggested Lopez is content being single and does not feel the need for a relationship to be happy. The public comments from Lopez and Goldstein appeared to directly answer that speculation.
Lopez spent June 1 and June 2 in New York City promoting the film and made several fashion changes during her appearances. On Monday, she wore a white tiered dress with a black blazer and accessories from Dolce & Gabbana, Marlene, and Yvonne Léon. Later, she switched into a cardigan and satin skirt for an Office Romance speed-dating event alongside Goldstein, pairing the outfit with jewelry from several designers.
On Tuesday, Lopez arrived at Today in a red snakeskin-inspired outfit with a statement trench coat, then later changed into a black Auter look before appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show in a black velvet mini dress with lace leggings.
Office Romance is scheduled to begin streaming on Netflix on Friday, June 5, 2026.
