Love Island USA is returning for season 8 with a new group of Islanders, more romance, conflict and unexpected twists as the series heads back to Fiji. Peacock has set the premiere for Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 6 p.m. PT and 9 p.m. ET. The cast was officially revealed on May 28, giving fans their first look at the contestants who will enter the villa at the start of the season.
The new season continues the show’s familiar format, in which the initial Islanders begin the competition in the villa before additional contestants are introduced later through Casa Amor, the challenge designed to test loyalty and relationships. Host Ariana Madix, returning for the new season, said at the April 2026 Deadline Contenders event that she is excited to reunite with the production team in Fiji and see how the contestants connect once they are all together. She noted that the cast selections often seem strong on paper, but the real dynamics only become clear once everyone is in the same room.
Madix also reflected on her role as host, saying that because she has experience as a reality TV participant herself, she understands the pressure and vulnerability that come with appearing on the show. She said she wants the Islanders to feel a sense of safety even when the show delivers difficult or stressful moments. While she may sometimes arrive with “scary or bad news,” her goal is to make clear that she is on their side.
The season 8 cast includes Aniya Harvey, Tyrone, Georgia; Beatriz Hatz of San Diego, California; Bryce Dettloff of Los Angeles, California; Gabriel Vasconcelos of Miami, Florida; KC Chandler of Fresno, California; Kenzie Annis of Kennesaw, Georgia; Melanie Moreno of Los Angeles, California; Sean Reifel of Easton, Pennsylvania; Sincere Rhea of Cape May, New Jersey; Trinity Tatum of Newport News, Virginia; Vasana Montgomery of Beaverton, Oregon; and Zach Georgiou of Birmingham, England.
The cast reveal came shortly before the premiere, continuing a pattern seen in recent seasons. In 2025, Peacock announced the season 7 lineup on May 29, just five days before that season’s June 3 debut. In 2024, the season 6 cast was unveiled on June 4, one week before the June 11 premiere. The timing has become part of the buildup for fans eager to learn who will be looking for love, forming alliances and navigating the social drama inside the villa.
Season 7 introduced viewers to Olandria Carthen and Nicolas Vansteenberghe, while season 8 is expected to bring a new mix of personalities and potential couples as Love Island USA continues its run as one of Peacock’s signature summer reality shows.
