Olivia Attwood Hints at Pete Wicks Romance, Says “It’s Great to Fall in Love”

Olivia Attwood has hinted at a possible romance with Pete Wicks while appearing live on ITV’s Loose Women, saying that it is “great to fall in love” during a discussion about relationships and friendships. The former Love Island star, 35, recently split from her footballer husband Bradley Dack after two years of marriage. Attwood and Dack married in the summer of 2023 at the Bulgari Hotel in London’s Knightsbridge.
Reports of a closer relationship between Attwood and Wicks have circulated for months. In March, the pair were photographed together on a night out at a London bar, where they appeared affectionate while sitting at a table with empty glasses. Later, they were also seen kissing at Flute, the same venue where Wicks had previously been pictured kissing Maura Higgins. A source quoted by Closer Magazine claimed Attwood had “always been drawn” to Wicks and was “totally smitten,” though neither Attwood nor Wicks has publicly confirmed a romance.
Attwood’s comments on Loose Women came during an episode that aired on May 25 and featured Charlene White, Coleen Nolan and Myleene Klass, along with an interview with singer Sinitta. The panel discussed whether it is wise to fall in love with a friend, prompting Attwood to reflect on the value of romance and the importance of maintaining friendships outside a relationship. She said she loves love and believes it is wonderful to be in a relationship, but stressed that people should never neglect the friendships that can last a lifetime.
Her remarks arrived shortly after Pete Wicks was teased on the Staying Relevant podcast by Sam Thompson, who joked about being photographed with Attwood at an airport. Wicks responded playfully, saying he sometimes goes to the airport for coffee and joking about doing “baggage handling” and “Uber work” on the side. The exchange added to ongoing speculation about the nature of his relationship with Attwood.
Meanwhile, Attwood has spoken candidly about the emotional impact of her split from Dack. On the Extra Dirty podcast last month, she described it as her “toughest” breakup, explaining that the relationship had lasted on and off for more than a decade. She said both sides had tried repeatedly to make it work and that, although the relationship had ended, she could still care for him as a person. Attwood added that breakups can be harder when there is no hatred involved, because it is possible to recognize that a relationship has run its course while still feeling love and respect for the other person.
The combination of her TV comments, public sightings with Wicks and her emotional reflections on the breakup has kept Attwood in the spotlight as speculation continues over her personal life.
