West End Live Announces 2026 Line-Up of Musicals

West End Live will return to Trafalgar Square on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 June 2026, bringing two days of free performances from major West End productions to the centre of London. Presented by Westminster City Council and the Society of London Theatre, the annual event is open to the public without tickets for general admission and will also be streamed online through Official London Theatre’s YouTube channel and social media platforms.
The 2026 edition will continue the environmentally focused production model introduced at the 2025 event. That approach featured large-scale battery-powered staging in Trafalgar Square, designed to reduce carbon emissions while still supporting live performance and technical delivery. Organisers also plan to maintain reductions in single-use plastics across the site as part of the event’s sustainability efforts.
Ahead of the weekend, an online competition will offer 100 queue-jump places per day, giving selected attendees access through a separate entrance. One winner will also receive backstage access during the festival, along with Theatre Tokens and a merchandise voucher.
The event will include accessible viewing areas available through advance registration, as well as British Sign Language interpretation and a calm space on site. West End Live is supported by a range of theatre organisations, partners and sponsors, and remains one of the most popular free events in London’s theatre calendar.
