Oliver Trevena Cast in Agatha Christie Thriller Eleven Missing Days
Oliver Trevena has joined the cast of the upcoming noir mystery-thriller “Eleven Missing Days,” starring Felicity Jones and Vincent Cassel. The film is based on the true story of Christie, who became a major news story after she vanished under mysterious circumstances at the height of her fame. The project follows the investigation into her disappearance and adopts a whodunnit structure in which the people around her are treated as suspects, including her brother, Monty, who will be played by Trevena.
“Eleven Missing Days” is being directed by Bertie Ellwood from a screenplay by Ernesto Foronda. The film is adapted from “Agatha Christie and the Eleven Missing Days” by Christie scholar Jared Cade. The movie is currently in pre-production and is expected to begin shooting in the U.K. this summer. Range Select is handling U.S. rights.
Trevena is known for roles in “Plane” and “The Bricklayer.” His recent screen credits include “Hotel Tehran,” alongside Liam Neeson and Zachary Levi; “The Cut,” which screened at TIFF and stars Orlando Bloom; “Mermaid,” with Mel Gibson; the comedy “Skinemax,” featuring Rory Culkin and Paris Jackson; and “Ice Fall,” opposite Joel Kinnaman, on which he also served as executive producer.
He was recently recognized at the Rome Film Festival with a Breakout Actor award, presented by his “Plane” co-star Gerard Butler at the premiere of “The Paradox Effect.” In that film, Trevena stars with Harvey Keitel and Olga Kurylenko. He also appears with Kurylenko in “Misdirection,” which he also produced.
The British actor and producer is represented by Untitled Entertainment, Independent Talent Group, and Rosenfeld, Meyer & Susman.
