How to Watch Xbox Games Showcase and Gears of War: E-Day Direct on Sunday

Xbox will host its annual double feature on Sunday, June 7, with the Xbox Games Showcase 2026 beginning at 10 a.m. Pacific, 1 p.m. Eastern and 6 p.m. UK time, followed immediately by a dedicated Gears of War: E-Day Direct presented by The Coalition. The event comes as Xbox marks its 25th anniversary and is positioned as a major preview of the company’s upcoming slate, featuring world premieres, gameplay reveals and new updates from Xbox and its global partners.

The Xbox Games Showcase will stream live across official Xbox and Bethesda channels worldwide, including regional Xbox channels, Steam and China’s Bilibili. For the first time, viewers in the United States will also be able to watch through Amazon Live and Prime Video on Fire TV. The broadcast will be available with English captions on YouTube.com/xbox, while additional live language support will be offered through regional Xbox channels.

Xbox says the live show will support English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, Mexican Spanish and Turkish during the broadcast. After the event, more languages will be added, including Afrikaans, Arabic, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Filipino, Finnish, Canadian French, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Malay, Norwegian, Persian, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Swahili, Swedish, Thai, Ukrainian and Vietnamese. Viewers can select their preferred language through their regional Xbox page or by using the settings gear on the official Xbox YouTube channel.

Accessibility options will also be offered. The showcase and the Gears of War: E-Day Direct will have English audio descriptions on the Xbox YouTube channel, American Sign Language on Xbox’s YouTube channel and the /XBOXASL Twitch channel, and British Sign Language on Xbox On’s YouTube channel.

For fans unable to watch live, Xbox Wire will publish detailed blog coverage of major announcements as they happen, followed by a full show recap immediately after the Xbox Games Showcase ends. A separate recap of Gears of War: E-Day Direct will be posted after the full double feature concludes. Localized versions of the written coverage will follow in Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, LATAM Spanish and Japanese, with additional deep-dive articles expected in the days after the broadcast.

Xbox also said the Official Xbox Podcast will release special episodes during the week of June 9, offering expanded discussion of announcements from the showcase. These episodes will be available on Xbox’s YouTube channel and podcast platforms.

The company added notes for co-streamers and creators, encouraging fan coverage while warning that automated bots and copyright systems may affect streams. Xbox recommended avoiding copyrighted music in post-show videos and checking service-provider terms of service before publishing breakdowns.

The event will also be tied to Xbox’s returning FanFest celebration in Los Angeles, giving fans both a live and in-person way to follow one of the company’s biggest annual showcases.
