Disney Debuts Ice Age: Boiling Point Teaser Trailer — Watch Now

Disney has released a new teaser trailer and fresh stills for Ice Age: Boiling Point, the sixth film in the long-running animated franchise, ahead of its theatrical release on February 5, 2027. The movie was first announced in November 2024 and is directed by John Donkin. It will be the first theatrical Ice Age installment in about five years, following the 2022 spinoff The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild and the 2016 feature Ice Age: Collision Course.
The teaser shows the return of the familiar herd, including Manny, voiced by Ray Romano; Diego, voiced by Denis Leary; Sid, voiced by John Leguizamo; Buck, voiced by Simon Pegg; and Ellie, voiced by Queen Latifah. Also appearing are Scrat, Crash, Eddie, and Baby Scrat. In the footage, the characters are thrown out of a volcano and launched into a chaotic new adventure filled with dinosaurs, lava, and danger as they head deeper into the unexplored Lost World.
Disney has not yet shared many plot details beyond the teaser’s setup, but the film appears to continue the franchise’s blend of action, comedy, and family-friendly adventure. The new installment is expected to expand the world of the series by taking the characters to previously unseen parts of the Lost World.
The Ice Age franchise has been one of Disney’s most recognizable animated properties, and the return of its core cast signals a continuation of the series’ established ensemble. With the new teaser now out, more information about Ice Age: Boiling Point is likely to arrive as the release date approaches.
