Adriana, played by Leticia Colin in Quem Ama Cuida, is expected to face serious legal trouble in the upcoming episodes of the Globo prime-time telenovela. While investigators continue examining the death of Arthur, portrayed by Antonio Fagundes, Adriana will decide to leave in order to help her mother, Elisa, played by Isabela Garcia, who has taken refuge at Enéas’ farm. That decision will be interpreted by police as an attempt to flee, giving Pilar, played by Isabel Teixeira, an opportunity to accuse her rival before authorities.
According to reports by columnist Zean Bravo of Extra, the delegate in charge of the case will treat Adriana’s trip as suspicious and quickly issue an arrest warrant. Pedro, played by Chay Suede, will try to keep Adriana from being forced into custody and will push for her to remain free while the investigation continues. However, Ademir, played by Dan Stulbach, is expected to work behind the scenes to make the situation harder for his own son.
The storyline will take a darker turn as Adriana is not only transferred to prison, but also convicted and sentenced to spend years behind bars. The plot, written by Walcyr Carrasco and Claudia Souto, will later jump forward to the present day in its second phase, when the heroine returns with a desire for revenge against those she believes destroyed her life for a crime she did not commit.
Viewers will have to wait seven months, until January 2027, to learn the true identity of Arthur’s killer. The production has kept the mystery tightly guarded, even though eight characters are considered suspects. Only five actors have already filmed the murder scene, adding to speculation about the final reveal.
Among the names mentioned as possible suspects are Pilar, Ulisses, Diná, Silvana and Otoniel, further widening the field of possible culprits. Quem Ama Cuida is set in São Paulo and is directed artistically by Amora Mautner. The novela continues to build intrigue around Arthur’s death, Adriana’s downfall, and the web of rivalries that will drive the story into its next phase.
