Daphne Joy Responds to Alleged Leaked Sex Tape Involving Diddy

Daphne Joy has spoken publicly for the first time after an alleged explicit video involving her, Sean “Diddy” Combs, and adult actor Sly Digger circulated online. In a statement posted to her Instagram Story on Monday, June 1, and later deleted, Joy said the experience was deeply traumatic and claimed she was recorded without her consent during her relationship with Combs.

In the statement, Joy did not name anyone directly but described the period as emotionally damaging and said she had ignored her own boundaries in an effort to make a partner happy. She said she once believed the relationship was rooted in real love, but now sees it differently and said the truth has been painful to accept. Joy said she had “deeply loved” the person involved, but added that she now realizes the relationship was “far from love.”

Joy also alleged that the video was never something she agreed to be filmed in, and said an individual later tried to extort money in exchange for keeping it private. According to her account, the footage was eventually sold to a major media outlet, but the outlet declined to publish it after reportedly determining it was connected to revenge porn and an extortion attempt. Joy said she was contacted by the outlet and told they had the tape, describing the moment as one in which she fainted for the first time in her life.

The model ended her message by affirming her self-worth and saying she feels, for the first time, that her body belongs to her. Her statement came after the video reportedly went viral on social media and drew public attention, including comments from rapper 50 Cent, who shares a son, Sire Jackson, with Joy. In posts over the weekend, 50 Cent reacted to the controversy and made remarks aimed at both Joy and Combs.

Reports say the video is about 40 minutes long and had been widely shared online over the weekend. It allegedly shows Combs watching as Joy has sex with other people. The claims have added another layer of controversy around Combs, who has faced mounting public scrutiny in recent months. Joy’s statement focuses on consent, autonomy, and the emotional impact she says the situation has had on her, framing the leak as an invasion of privacy rather than a consensual release of intimate material.
