McFly & Carlito Launch Brosti, Their Artisan Chip Brand

McFly and Carlito have launched Brosti, a new chip brand that turns their long-running taste-test content into a retail product. The launch comes after their December 2023 video, “On devine 24 saveurs de chips. McFly se découvre un don. Carlito non.”, in which the creators sparked the idea of developing their own recipes. After months of teasing their audience, the chips have now been released in stores as of June 1.
Brosti’s first range includes six flavors: three inventive varieties and three more classic options. Among the original recipes are ham-and-butter, couscous-merguez, and strawberry-whipped cream. The brand says the chips are made in a farm-based production model at Ferme de Letourville in Beauce, France, with an emphasis on short supply chains and French agricultural expertise. According to the company, potatoes are grown, harvested, sorted, prepared, washed, sliced, and cooked on site in a cauldron-style process designed to create a crisp texture, before being seasoned with natural flavors that define each recipe.
The project has been in development for more than a year and reflects the duo’s shift toward lifestyle-focused content. In recent years, food tasting videos have become a regular feature on their YouTube channel, which now includes more than 30 videos in that format. McFly and Carlito have increasingly built their content around challenges, competitions, and food-driven entertainment, often centered on unusual or surprising flavors.
To support the launch, the creators also invented two mascots or alter egos, McFries and Patato, extending the playful identity of the brand. Brosti chips are being sold at a recommended retail price of €2.49 for a 125-gram bag, allowing fans to continue the experience at home with a product inspired directly by the duo’s online experiments.
