Grind Pretty Fest Brings Nivea and Business Insights to Atlanta

Grind Pretty Fest will return to Atlanta on Saturday, June 6, 2026, with an ATL Remix edition at the Westside Cultural Arts Center, bringing together entrepreneurship, wellness, culture, networking, and live entertainment in a single-day event running from 12:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Founded by media entrepreneur Mimi Johnson, the festival is designed as a safe and empowering space for women from all backgrounds, whether they are seasoned business owners or just starting out.
The event will feature panel discussions, wellness experiences, women-owned business connections, grant funding opportunities, and a nostalgic Y2K-themed celebration. Organizers say the festival is built around community and practical support, not just inspiration, with a focus on helping women access meaningful resources that can support growth and long-term success.
This year’s programming will center on three major topics facing entrepreneurs today: the effect of artificial intelligence in media, the pressure to constantly perform, and the power of pivoting when business plans change. Panels will include media executives, entrepreneurs, wellness leaders, athletes, and creatives who will discuss how AI is reshaping business, how to manage online visibility and pressure, and how to adapt without viewing change as failure. The conversations are intended to give attendees real-world insight and actionable strategies they can use immediately.
A major part of the festival’s mission is financial support for women entrepreneurs. Through the Grind For Good 501(c)(3) nonprofit, three women-owned businesses will each receive a $1,000 grant through the Corporate Grant, Idea Pitch Grant, and Elevator Pitch Grant programs. The Corporate Grant is aimed at professional development, certifications, and career advancement. The Idea Pitch Grant supports women in the early stages of building a business, while the Elevator Pitch Grant is designed for those looking to scale an existing company.
Applications for the grants close on May 30, 2026, and applicants must attend the festival and hold a valid ticket. Applications are available through GrindPretty.com. In addition to business funding, Grind For Good will also support an emergency relief initiative for women in media and entertainment who are facing layoffs and financial instability.
This year’s Grind Pretty Honorees include Morgan DeBaun, founder and CEO of Blavity Inc. and AFROTECH; Jai Ferrell, CEO of Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta; Leticia Gardner, founder of Dynamic 3 Med Spa; Grammy-nominated singer Nivea; Britni Ricard, founder and CEO of COTA SKIN; and Cicley Gay, CEO of The Amplifiers and founder of BLM Sports.
After the business programming, the event will shift into celebration mode with the ATL Remix Y2K Day Party. The lineup includes performances by Nivea, Jazzy Tha Rapper, and Pearl Jade, along with an all-female DJ roster featuring DJ Traci Steele, DJ Princess Cut, DJ Reese, and DJ Queen of Spades. Supporters for the event include Kiss Color & Care, BLM Sports, and PHerfectly Balanced.
Johnson said the festival is about creating opportunities for women while celebrating culture and community. Tickets are available now at GrindPretty.com.
