The Way Home Soundtrack Set for Release Featuring More Than 30 Original Songs

Hallmark is marking the upcoming end of The Way Home with a music release for fans of the series. During the ATX TV Festival on Sunday, stars Chyler Leigh, Evan Williams and Sadie Laflamme-Snow announced that the network will release a playlist featuring more than 30 songs from the show’s four seasons, including original tracks, covers and score music.
The playlist is set to arrive on June 12 on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon and other streaming platforms. It will include 30 tracks at launch, with two additional songs from the final two episodes to be added later. The last two episodes are scheduled to air on June 14 and June 21.
Hallmark Media head of programming Michelle Vicary said the music has been an essential part of the series, helping define the show’s different eras and settings. She said the decision to share the songs came after years of fan interest and reflected the strong connection viewers have made with the music.
The collection will feature several songs performed by Sadie Laflamme-Snow, including “By the Light of the Moon” and “Where This Water Meets the Sea,” along with multiple versions of “Everything I Wanted.” The playlist will also include covers such as “You Learn,” performed by Chyler Leigh; “Time After Time,” performed by Evan Williams; and “Summer Breeze,” performed by Jordan Doww and Laflamme-Snow. All of the score music included on the playlist was composed by Keith Power.
Co-showrunners and executive producers Heather Conkie and Alexandra Clarke said they were excited to give fans access to the songs and score that have been a defining part of the series since Season 1. They noted that music has played a central role in the Landry family’s story across multiple generations and has helped shape the emotional tone of the show as it moves through different time periods.
The producers also paid tribute to the creative team behind the soundtrack, including Power and music supervisors Jennifer Pyken and Ann Kline. Kline said one of the joys of the series was building a musical identity that could span from the 1800s to the present day while staying true to themes of family, home, friendship and love.
Pyken added that original songs by Maria Taylor, Keith Power and Alan Doyle were especially important in supporting the time-travel elements of the story. She said the cast’s performances helped bring those songs to life and strengthened the emotional core of the series.
The Way Home airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on Hallmark.
