Dorit Kemsley Hints at Possible Exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Dorit Kemsley is addressing speculation about her future on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” after reports swirled that she might be pushed out following season 15. In a May 2026 interview with E! News while promoting her memoir, “Unburdened,” Kemsley said she is open to returning if Bravo offers her a spot on season 16, but also suggested she is thinking carefully about what comes next. She said she believes she will know whether it is the right time to continue or step back, adding that she is currently focused on her personal growth and creative work.

Kemsley, who joined “RHOBH” in 2016 during season 7, said she is entering what she described as a new chapter marked by peace, acceptance, happiness, and adventure. After years of public scrutiny, she said she is in a reflective place and enjoying attention centered on her book rather than reality television drama. Her comments come amid widespread fan debate over whether Bravo will keep her on the series or move in a different direction for the next season.

The rumors intensified after the three-part reunion for season 15, which closed with Kemsley at odds with several castmates and facing questions about her place on the show. Online reactions have been sharply divided. Some viewers argued she has already been quietly removed, while others defended her and said Bravo should keep her on the cast. The speculation has also fueled broader discussion about the future of the franchise and which longtime cast members should stay or go.

Kemsley has also been candid about her relationships with her fellow housewives. In a separate May 2026 interview with Entertainment Tonight, she reflected on tensions with Kyle Richards and Erika Jayne, saying she believes the friendships can be repaired if the other women are willing to work on them. She admitted that she was in a dark place during the reunion period and watched it back with regret, saying her behavior came from feeling hurt, frustrated, and aggressive rather than reflecting who she truly is. She said she would approach the women with more openness if given the chance again.

Her upcoming memoir, “Unburdened,” is set for release on June 2 through Podium Entertainment, and she has been actively promoting it with interviews and a three-city tour. The tour begins May 31 in Los Angeles, followed by appearances in New Jersey on June 3 and New York City on June 4. Kemsley previously revealed the book’s cover during an episode of “RHOBH,” tying the project closely to her life on the Bravo series. As the memoir launch approaches, attention remains split between her next chapter as an author and the uncertainty surrounding her reality TV future.
