Roland Garros today: What time Argentine players are playing and how to watch the matches live

Juan Manuel Cerúndolo returns to the court at Roland Garros 2026 aiming to extend one of the biggest surprises of the tournament and keep building his breakthrough run on the Paris clay. The Argentine will face Spain’s Martín Landaluce this Saturday with a place in the round of 16 at stake in the second Grand Slam of the season.

Cerúndolo arrives after defeating world No. 1 Jannik Sinner, the Italian favorite and top-ranked player in the ATP standings, in a result that marked the biggest win of his career at a major tournament. The 56th-ranked Argentine had previously reached only the second round at Roland Garros in 2025 and at the US Open in 2023, making his latest victory a major step forward in his Grand Slam record.

His next match is scheduled to begin no earlier than 8:30 a.m. in Argentina. Landaluce, 20, is ranked No. 69 and comes into the contest after surviving a five-set battle against Czech player Vit Kopriva. The matchup sets up a test between Cerúndolo’s momentum and Landaluce’s resilience in a tournament that has already produced several long, demanding matches.

Elsewhere in the men’s draw, Francisco Cerúndolo, Juan Manuel’s older brother, was eliminated in the third round by American Zachary Svajda. Svajda won 6-3, 6-4, 3-6, 4-6, 6-3 after three hours of play. Francisco Comesaña also exited the tournament in the same stage after a dramatic five-set loss to former top-10 player Matteo Berrettini, who prevailed 7-6, 5-7, 6-7, 6-4, 7-6 in a match lasting five hours and 13 minutes.

With Juan Manuel Cerúndolo still alive in the competition, Argentina continues to have a presence in the later rounds of Roland Garros. His run has become one of the standout stories of the Paris clay-court major, especially after his upset over Sinner, and his upcoming match will determine whether he can keep pushing deeper into the draw.

Roland Garros action is being broadcast live on ESPN and streamed on Disney+ Premium.
