The Brazilian Federal Lottery held its latest draw on Saturday, June 6, in contest 6072, with total prize money of BRL 610,000. The drawing took place at about 8 p.m. Brasília time and was livestreamed on Caixa Econômica Federal’s official YouTube channel.
The first prize went to ticket 022573, sold by Liberdade Loterias in Iperi, Goiás, and paid BRL 500,000. The second prize was ticket 076376, sold by Boa Sorte in Três Lagoas, Mato Grosso do Sul, worth BRL 35,000. The third prize went to ticket 045867, sold by JM Loterias in Umuarama, Paraná, with a payout of BRL 30,000. The fourth prize was ticket 071865, sold by Casa da Sorte Loterias in Catanduva, São Paulo, worth BRL 25,000. The fifth prize went to ticket 038828, sold by Lotérica D’Vila da Sorte in Dois Córregos, São Paulo, with a prize of BRL 20,503.

Unlike number-based lotteries, the Federal Lottery awards prizes by ticket, which changes the odds depending on the type of draw. Regular drawings are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays, except on national holidays. Special editions are also offered on set dates with larger prizes. These include the monthly “Enricou” Saturday draw, which pays out more than BRL 3.4 million, and the annual Christmas Special Drawing.
The odds vary by edition: 1 in 92,000 for Wednesday draws, 1 in 96,000 for Saturday draws, 1 in 84,000 for the “Enricou” draw, and 1 in 85,000 per series for the Christmas Special.
Winners have up to 90 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes. If the deadline passes, the money is transferred to Brazil’s National Treasury and allocated to the Higher Education Student Financing Fund, known as FIES.
Prizes can be claimed at authorized lottery retailers or Caixa branches for amounts up to BRL 2,428.80. Any prize above that amount must be collected directly at a Caixa branch.
The Federal Lottery remains one of Brazil’s long-running official lottery games, with fixed-ticket draws and multiple prize tiers. Saturday’s contest 6072 added another round of winners across several Brazilian states, including Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul, Paraná, and São Paulo.
