Megan Thee Stallion Hit With $1.2 Million Lawsuit, Says Case Is Fraudulent

Megan Thee Stallion is facing a $1.2 million lawsuit from luxury styling agency Six K and celebrity stylist Eric Archibald over alleged unpaid wardrobe bills tied to her public appearances. The complaint, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, says Archibald was hired to provide styling services for the rapper, whose legal name is Megan Pete, and that invoices for work done between January 2024 and August 2025 were repeatedly submitted to her business entities from January 2025 through January 2026. The plaintiffs say the total amount sought is $1,243,501.98, and they allege that emails show Megan’s team acknowledged the deal memos.
One of the main documents cited in the case is a July 8, 2025 deal memo for the Pete & Thomas Foundation Inaugural Gala in New York City, which the stylists say covered $53,800 in wardrobe-related costs, including prep days, assistant fees, and three gowns. Six K and Archibald say they made repeated attempts to settle the alleged debt over a two-year period but were unsuccessful. They also claim the unpaid balance has caused personal and professional harm, including problems paying third-party vendors who supplied clothing and related services.
Megan Thee Stallion is disputing the allegations. In a public statement, she said her finance team conducted an audit of Archibald’s wardrobe expenses and found what she described as fraudulent invoices, unsupported charges, and shipments tied to unverified addresses. She said the team tried to resolve the matter privately but that Archibald instead chose to sue. Megan said she will not pay charges that cannot be substantiated and insisted the facts are on her side.
The lawsuit arrives during a busy and turbulent period for the rapper. On May 28, 2026, she returned to the spotlight by walking the runway at Paraiso Miami Swim Week to promote her swimwear brand, Hot Girl Summer. That appearance came shortly after a serious health scare earlier in the spring. Megan had to leave her Broadway role in Moulin Rouge! The Musical after becoming ill during a performance on March 30, and her doctors later ended her run early on May 1. She later told fans the experience was a wake-up call to focus on her health.
The legal dispute also follows another courtroom win for Megan. A federal judge recently reinstated her $75,000 defamation and harassment judgment against blogger Milagro Gramz, adding to a string of high-profile legal battles that have kept the rapper in the headlines.
