Tiger Woods Reportedly Stressed During Rehabilitation Treatment

Tiger Woods is reportedly facing a difficult stretch marked by emotional strain, legal complications, and ongoing physical recovery. According to sources, people close to the golf star are increasingly worried about the pressure he may be under after his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, revealed that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. The diagnosis, which Vanessa publicly shared on Instagram on May 20, has added to a series of challenges already surrounding Woods.
The concerns come just weeks after Woods became involved in a vehicle incident in Florida on March 27 near Jupiter Island, which has since led to court-related matters. Reports say investigators found prescription pain medication on him, and footage released by law enforcement appeared to show him having difficulty with field sobriety tests. The incident revived attention on Woods’ prior legal and personal issues, including a previous DUI arrest in 2017 and multiple earlier car crashes.
Woods reportedly spent time at a rehabilitation facility in Switzerland after the Florida incident before returning to the United States in mid-May. Sources say he is still following a structured recovery plan while also dealing with the broader impact of injuries that have affected him for years. The 50-year-old has undergone several surgeries and continues to recover from the serious leg injuries he suffered in the 2021 car crash that nearly ended his career.
Despite these struggles, Woods has reportedly remained focused on supporting Vanessa during her health battle. A source cited by People magazine said he briefly paused his treatment to return home, take care of personal matters, and support Vanessa as well as attend the high school graduation of her daughter Kai. The insider described Woods as family-oriented and said his relationship with Vanessa remains strong.
Woods and Vanessa are believed to have begun dating in late 2024, and he made the relationship public earlier this year with a social media post saying, “Life is better with you by my side!” Sources suggest Vanessa has become an important source of emotional support for him during a period when he has been coping with physical limitations and personal setbacks. One insider claimed Woods has limited ability to take part in many activities because of his injuries and that the relationship has offered him stability.
As legal proceedings continue, Woods has also reappeared on social media after nearly two months of silence. In a Memorial Day message posted on X, he thanked military service members and reflected on his late father, Earl Woods, who served in the U.S. Army Special Forces. Earl Woods died in May 2006 at age 74.
The combination of health concerns, legal pressure, and recovery challenges has placed renewed attention on Woods’ personal life, with friends reportedly hoping he can cope with the emotional strain while continuing to heal.
