Valentine’s Day in Brazil to Bring Rain and Temperatures Up to 21°C, Says Forecast – 12/06/2026 – Cotidiano

São Paulo will start Friday, June 12, with sun and clouds and gradually rising temperatures, according to the city’s Climate Emergency Management Center. Temperatures are expected to range from 14°C to 21°C, with humidity above 60%. Conditions should change in the afternoon as a cold front moves along the São Paulo coast, bringing periods of light to moderate rain and wind gusts that may exceed 50 km/h. The weather shift increases the risk of flooding and fallen trees, especially in the Greater São Paulo area.

The city’s weather pattern is expected to remain unstable through the end of the week. On Saturday, June 13, the day should begin with heavy cloud cover and drizzle, but sunshine is likely to return between clouds later in the day, helping temperatures rise gradually. Forecasts call for lows of 15°C and highs of 23°C.

On Sunday, June 14, skies are expected to stay cloudy with showers, according to the National Institute of Meteorology. Temperatures should range from 11°C to 24°C. Humidity levels may fall below 30%, which can pose health risks, particularly for children, older adults, and people with respiratory conditions.

The World Health Organization says humidity below 60% can be harmful to human health, especially for vulnerable groups.
