Sydney Sweeney Spotted on Times Square Date Night With Boyfriend

Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun were spotted together in New York City over the weekend, adding fresh fuel to reports about their new romance. The pair spent Saturday night out in Manhattan, where they were seen dressed in coordinated all-black looks earlier in the evening before heading to Times Square for a late-night outing. Sweeney wore a short black dress with a deep neckline, while Braun opted for a black suit, giving their night out a polished, high-profile feel.

According to Braun’s social media posts, the evening began after Sweeney said she had never visited Times Square before. The music executive shared video of the two riding rental bikes through the city before stopping for food. In one moment from the outing, Sweeney, later seen in a blue hoodie and sunglasses, sampled a burger and appeared to give it her approval when Braun asked for her reaction.

The couple’s visit to Times Square included a stop near a giant digital billboard promoting Sweeney’s American Eagle campaign. Sweeney posed in front of the sign and danced to “Empire State of Mind,” the well-known New York anthem playing in the background. The outing offered another public glimpse into the pair’s fast-moving relationship, which has drawn attention because both stars previously had long-term partners. Sweeney was previously engaged to businessman Jonathan Davino, while Braun was married to mining heiress Yael Cohen, with whom he shares three children.

Braun has also spoken warmly about Sweeney in recent days. On the “Second Thought” podcast, he praised her as an impressive performer and described her as genuine, intelligent, generous, and grounded. He also said the romance came as a surprise to him, calling it one of the most unexpected developments in his life.

The relationship has also surfaced alongside ongoing discussion around Sweeney’s work on HBO’s “Euphoria.” Braun recently said he still enjoys the series despite mixed reactions, and sources cited in reports said he has remained supportive of Sweeney amid criticism over her explicit scenes. According to those accounts, he respects her career choices and does not interfere with her creative decisions.

Sweeney has also been active on social media reflecting on her role as Cassie Howard. She recently shared behind-the-scenes photos and videos from “Euphoria,” including images connected to Cassie’s wedding storyline and her controversial OnlyFans plotline. The post highlighted one of the show’s most talked-about seasons and suggested she enjoyed the experience despite the backlash.

Criticism of Sweeney’s provocative scenes has continued to circulate, but both she and series creator Sam Levinson have defended the creative direction. Levinson has said the intent was to create humor and absurdity, while Sweeney has maintained that she is involved in the process and has never been pressured into scenes she was uncomfortable filming.
