De’Aaron Fox’s Wife Recee Supports the Spurs in Custom Shirt Before Game 7 Against the Thunder

The San Antonio Spurs face the biggest game of their 2025-26 season on Saturday night, traveling to Oklahoma City for Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals against the Thunder, with a trip to the NBA Finals on the line. The winner will advance to meet the New York Knicks. Much of San Antonio’s hopes still depend on superstar forward Victor Wembanyama, but Oklahoma City has focused heavily on limiting him, making support from the Spurs’ other key players essential.
One of those players is veteran guard De’Aaron Fox, who has carried important scoring responsibility for San Antonio throughout the postseason. Fox missed the first two games of the series because of injury, and since returning he has not looked fully like himself offensively. Against the Thunder, he has not topped 15 points in any game of the series, a number the Spurs will likely need to see rise if they want a realistic chance to win on the road against the defending NBA champions.
Fox will still have family support behind him for the decisive matchup. His wife, Recee Fox, showed her support on May 30 by posting a photo to her Instagram story featuring herself and the couple’s oldest child, Reign. In the image, Recee wore a custom Spurs shirt featuring De’Aaron Fox, while Reign wore his father’s jersey and Spurs pants. The post suggested that Recee was not in Oklahoma City for Game 7, likely staying home with the children while Fox prepared for one of the most important games of his career.
Recee and De’Aaron Fox have been together since 2018, when they met outside a hotel in Las Vegas. They became engaged in 2020, married in 2022, and now have two children. Their relationship has often drawn attention from fans, and Recee has regularly shown public support for her husband during his basketball career.
For San Antonio, Game 7 presents a defining test. Wembanyama remains the centerpiece of the Spurs’ attack and the player Oklahoma City is most focused on containing. But if the Thunder continue to crowd him and force others to beat them, the Spurs will need a strong offensive performance from Fox and additional production from the rest of the roster. Fox’s ability to create shots, score efficiently, and relieve pressure from Wembanyama could play a major role in deciding whether San Antonio reaches the NBA Finals.
The Spurs now head into the road environment with their season hanging in the balance, and Fox enters the matchup knowing both the challenge ahead and the support waiting for him at home.
