Parker Bohn III Sets Qualifying Record, Tops Super Senior Classic Leaderboard

Parker Bohn III extended his dominant run at the 2026 USBC Super Senior Classic in Las Vegas, Nevada, setting a new 12-game qualifying record after a strong second day of action. The USBC and PBA Hall of Famer rolled games of 212, 227, 237, 279, 227 and 266 for a 12-game total of 2,977, breaking the previous record of 2,927 set last year by Finland’s Timo Raatikainen by 50 pins. Bohn III is averaging 248 for the tournament and holds the top spot after qualifying.
Left-hander John Marsala moved into second place with 2,916 total pins after posting the highest six-game block of the day at 1,515. His games included 228, 289, 218, 279, 202 and 299, giving him one of the strongest performances of the event so far. Raatikainen, the leading A-squad bowler on the leaderboard, sits in third at 2,824. Dennis Horan Jr. is fourth with 2,803, and Tom Adcock is fifth with 2,787.
The field was cut to the top 52 bowlers after 12 total games of qualifying. Curt Guinn of Hodges, South Carolina, secured the final spot in the cut at 2,573. The remaining competitors now advance to the cashers’ round on Saturday, where they will bowl six more games beginning at noon ET. Their combined pinfall over 18 games will determine the top 12 players advancing to match play.
Those 12 finalists will then be divided into two groups based on seeding. Group 1 will feature the odd seeds, including the No. 1, No. 3, No. 5, No. 7, No. 9 and No. 11 bowlers. Group 2 will contain the even seeds. Each group will stage six head-to-head matches beginning at 6 p.m. ET Saturday, concluding with a final position round. Winners of each match will receive 30 bonus points, which can significantly affect the standings.
The highest total score, including bonus pins, in each group will earn an automatic place in Sunday’s stepladder finals. The overall pinfall leader will be the No. 1 seed, while the other group leaders will be seeded second within their respective groups. Bowlers finishing third and fourth in each group will first compete in one-game head-to-head matches, with the winners advancing to face the second-place players. The two surviving bowlers from those matches will meet in the opening stepladder contest on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.
Fans can watch the final rounds live on BowlTV as the competition moves toward its championship finish. The top 10 after qualifying are Bohn III, Marsala, Raatikainen, Horan Jr., Adcock, Charles “C.K.” Moore, Brian LeClair, Dwight Burns, Ricky Schissler and Dave Cirigliano.
