Oliver Tree Said He Wouldn’t Give a Penny of His Inheritance to His Family Months Before His Death

Oliver Tree, born Oliver Tree Nickell, had previously said he did not want his family to inherit his money after his death. In an appearance on The Zach Sang Show for an episode that aired on April 25, he explained that he did not believe the wealth he earned from his career truly belonged to him. He said his will was arranged so that when he died, his family would not receive any of his money. He also said that if he ever had a wife or children, they would not be given a large inheritance. According to his comments, he would pay for his children’s college education, but he did not want them to grow up with a “silver spoon.” He said the money should eventually go back to artists instead.
His remarks have drawn renewed attention after his death at age 32 on June 14, when two helicopters collided in Rio de Janeiro. He was among six passengers who died in the crash. Argentine YouTuber Gaspi, also known as Gaspar Prim, was another person killed in the accident.
Following the news of his death, Oliver Tree’s final social media posts have also started to circulate widely online.
