JEE Advanced Result 2026 Out: Scorecard Link at jeeadv.ac.in, AIR 1 Topper and Cutoff Updates

The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has declared the JEE Advanced 2026 result, activating the scorecard download link on the official website jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates can access their results by logging into the JEE Advanced candidate portal using their registration number, date of birth and mobile number. The result page includes marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, total marks from both papers, qualification status, cutoff details and, for eligible candidates, the All India Rank.
Shubham Kumar from the IIT Delhi zone has secured AIR 1 in JEE Advanced 2026. IIT Roorkee has also released the list of toppers from AIR 1 to AIR 10, along with zonal toppers across all seven IIT zones. The result and topper announcement mark an important step for students seeking admission to Indian Institutes of Technology.
Along with the result, the JEE Advanced 2026 cutoff has been released. Candidates who scored above the prescribed cutoff have been declared qualified and assigned an All India Rank. The cutoff varies by category and rank list. For the Common Rank List, the minimum marks in each subject are 8 and the minimum aggregate marks out of 360 are 84. For GEN-EWS and OBC-NCL, the minimum marks in each subject are 7 and the aggregate cutoff is 76. For SC, ST and all PwD category rank lists, the minimum marks in each subject are 4 and the minimum aggregate marks are 47. For preparatory course rank lists, the minimum marks in each subject are 1 and the aggregate cutoff is 18.
A total of 1,87,389 candidates registered for JEE Advanced 2026, of whom 1,79,694 appeared in the exam and 56,000 qualified. Scores have been calculated using the final answer key. The provisional answer key was released on May 25, and candidates were allowed to raise objections until May 26. No challenges are permitted against the final answer key.
Candidates are advised to download and print their scorecard for future use during counselling and admission. All personal details shown on the scorecard should be checked carefully for accuracy.
Qualified candidates will now move to the counselling stage for IIT admissions through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority, JoSAA. Registration for JoSAA counselling will begin on June 2 at josaa.nic.in, where eligible candidates can complete the registration and seat allotment process. The official counselling schedule is available on the JoSAA portal.
JEE Advanced 2026 was conducted by IIT Roorkee on May 17, making the result declaration a major development for engineering aspirants across the country.
