Liverpool are also active in the market, with Paris St-Germain set to challenge them for RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, 19, while Aston Villa, AC Milan and Besiktas are all monitoring Liverpool defender Joe Gomez, 29.
Tottenham manager Roberto de Zerbi is reported to be targeting three former Brighton players: Cameroon midfielder Carlos Baleba, 22, Dutch defender Jan Paul van Hecke, 25, and Netherlands goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen, 23. Spurs are also said to be considering England defender John Stones, 31, as part of their defensive planning.
Elsewhere, England and Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon, 25, has attracted interest from Barcelona, with the Spanish club believed to value him highly ahead of a possible summer approach. Manchester City forward Jack Grealish, 30, could be given another opportunity to revive his career at the Etihad, with Enzo Maresca reportedly keen to keep him involved rather than sell him after his loan spell at Everton.
Brentford have made an offer of €45m, around £39m, for Cologne winger Said El Mala, 19, showing their intent to invest in young attacking talent. Cologne, meanwhile, are looking at Leeds centre-back Sebastiaan Bornauw, 27, as they prepare for potential defensive changes.
Everton are chasing a move for DR Congo full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, 28, with a proposed fee of about £10m after West Ham’s relegation from the Premier League. Tottenham, Newcastle United, Fulham and Sunderland are also said to be tracking the former Manchester United defender, making him one of the more sought-after names in the market.
At Real Madrid, incoming boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly delivered a list of areas he wants strengthened as he prepares to leave Benfica and return to the Bernabeu. The club is expected to review his suggestions as part of its wider summer rebuild.
The latest round of transfer speculation highlights continued interest in Premier League talent, with clubs across England and Europe targeting established internationals as well as emerging prospects. Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester City and Everton are all linked with moves that could shape their squads ahead of the next season, while European heavyweights PSG, Barcelona and Real Madrid remain active in the same market.
