FIFA+ Launches on DAZN in Major Step Toward a Global Home for Football

FIFA and DAZN have launched FIFA+ exclusively on DAZN, creating a new global destination for free-to-view football content and marking a major expansion of their strategic partnership. The rollout combines FIFA’s international football archive and original programming with DAZN’s extensive rights portfolio, offering fans a single platform for live matches, highlights, documentaries and editorial content. The announcement, made in London on 4 June 2026, is positioned by both organisations as a step toward building the “Global Home of Football.”
Under the new setup, FIFA+ on DAZN will feature around 8,500 live football events each year in selected territories, including matches from nearly 100 FIFA Member Associations. FIFA says the move will help increase the visibility of member associations’ competitions, players and stories, while giving those organisations access to DAZN’s global reach and distribution capabilities. The platform is also expected to give FIFA more data-driven tools to improve audience engagement and content performance.
The service will include archive material from major FIFA tournaments such as the FIFA World Cup and the FIFA Women’s World Cup. Fans will be able to watch full match replays, highlights, goals, curated collections and historic footage, including unseen angles and classic moments from football’s biggest events. FIFA said the archive offering is designed to deepen fan engagement while showcasing the sport’s heritage alongside live coverage.
The 2026 content lineup also includes several FIFA competitions, among them the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland, the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco, the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup in selected territories. FIFA+ has already been established in recent years, but the new arrangement shifts responsibility for its technical, editorial, distribution and commercial operations to DAZN.
FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström said the integration is a key milestone in FIFA’s ambition to make football truly global and accessible. He said the partnership with DAZN, building on collaboration at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025, will bring together competitions, content and storytelling on one platform while creating new opportunities for FIFA Member Associations to reach wider audiences. He added that the project will continue to celebrate the players who have helped make football the world’s most popular sport.
DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev said the launch reflects the companies’ shared goal of expanding football’s reach and cultural impact worldwide. He said DAZN’s global footprint, technology and marketing capabilities will help deliver FIFA+ content to hundreds of millions of sports fans, with free access to matches, iconic moments and original programming. He also said the move strengthens DAZN’s position as a global home of sport.
DAZN will also add interactive features for FIFA+ users, including live chats with players, polls, quizzes, games and FanZone community tools. Existing FIFA+ has now closed, and users are being directed to transition to the new service on DAZN using their current login details.
