CPFL Energia (CPFE3) will pay second dividend installment this month; see who is eligible

CPFL Energia announced that it will pay the second installment of the R$4.3 billion in dividends it previously disclosed, with the payment scheduled for June 18. The new distribution totals R$150 million and corresponds to R$0.130179581 per share.
After this payment, the company still has R$2.84 billion in dividends left to be paid to shareholders by December 31, 2026. CPFL said that shareholders who held the stock on April 29, 2026, are entitled to receive the dividend. From April 30, 2026 onward, CPFL shares have traded on B3 on an ex-dividend basis, meaning new buyers no longer qualify for this payout.
The company also clarified the payment method for different custody arrangements. Shareholders whose shares are held through Banco do Brasil, which is responsible for the company’s share registration services, will receive the funds by direct credit to their bank accounts, based on the information already on file with the bank. For shares held in custody at B3, the amounts will be credited to the exchange’s custody system, and the respective custodian institutions will pass the payments on to the beneficial owners.
The announcement confirms CPFL’s ongoing dividend plan and provides investors with the next payment date, the amount per share, and the remaining balance still scheduled for distribution later this year.
