AS Monaco: Mamadou Coulibaly gets a new custom car for the new season

Between two seasons, AS Monaco midfielder Mamadou Coulibaly has taken delivery of a customized BMW M5, delivered from southern France by Centurion Motors. The premium automotive specialist shared images and details of the handover on social media, highlighting the car’s arrival for the central midfielder during the offseason.

The vehicle stands out immediately thanks to a metallic brown wrap and a full carbon-fiber body kit, giving the high-performance sedan a much more distinctive look than its factory specification. The custom exterior treatment replaces the original appearance with a more personalized and aggressive style, reflecting the kind of bespoke finish often seen in luxury car culture.

Under the hood, the 2026 BMW M5 uses BMW’s M Hybrid powertrain, combining a twin-turbocharged V8 engine with an electric motor. The setup delivers a combined output of 717 horsepower and allows the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in about three seconds. In France, the model starts at around 161,900 euros in its base configuration. It also offers an electric driving range of approximately 63 kilometers, adding a plug-in hybrid dimension to the performance sedan.

For Coulibaly, 22, the new car comes after a strong 2025-2026 season with Monaco. He appeared in 36 matches across all competitions, contributing three goals and six assists. The performance marks a productive campaign for the midfielder and suggests he is entering the next phase of his career with growing confidence and visibility.

The delivery also reflects the growing connection between professional footballers and high-end automotive customization. Luxury cars, especially performance models like the BMW M5, remain popular among athletes who want both speed and exclusivity. In this case, the combination of advanced hybrid performance and a personalized visual package makes the vehicle especially notable.

Centurion Motors’ social media post brought attention to the delivery and showcased the finished result. The customized BMW M5 is both a status symbol and a performance machine, matching the profile of a young player coming off an impressive season. With its striking brown finish, carbon accents, and hybrid V8 powertrain, the car represents a high-end offseason purchase for the Monaco player.

As Coulibaly prepares for the next campaign, the BMW M5 adds another talking point to a season already marked by steady progress on the pitch. The purchase underlines how football success often goes hand in hand with luxury lifestyle choices, particularly during the break between competitive seasons.
