2026 World Cup Today, Monday (15): Match Times and Where to Watch

The 2026 FIFA World Cup continues on Monday, June 15, with more group-stage matches in a tournament already making history as the largest edition ever held. For the first time, the competition features 48 national teams divided into 12 groups, with 104 matches scheduled over 38 days across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The expanded format preserves the basic group-stage structure, with four teams in each group and three matches for every team in the opening round. The biggest change comes in the qualification system for the knockout stage. In addition to the top two teams from each group, the eight best third-placed teams will also advance. This creates an extra elimination round, the round of 32, before the traditional round of 16. The result is a longer tournament with more games spread across several cities in North America.

The World Cup opened on June 11 at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City. The final is scheduled for July 19 in the New York/New Jersey area, while the third-place match will be played on July 18 in Miami. For fans, the schedule means a dense daily lineup across multiple time zones, making it important to track Brasília time and broadcast options for each round.

Monday’s matches include Spain vs. Cape Verde at 1:00 p.m. Brasília time in Atlanta; Belgium vs. Egypt at 4:00 p.m. in Seattle; Saudi Arabia vs. Uruguay at 7:00 p.m. in Miami; and Iran vs. New Zealand at 10:00 p.m. in Los Angeles.

In Brazil, broadcast rights for the 2026 World Cup are shared across several platforms and television networks, including TV Globo, ge tv, SporTV, N Sports, CazéTV and SBT. CazéTV will stream all 104 matches of the competition.

Brazil is in Group C and already has its first-round schedule confirmed. The team will face Morocco on June 13 at 7:00 p.m. Brasília time at MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey. It will then play Haiti on June 19 at 9:30 p.m. at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The final group match will be against Scotland on June 24 at 7:00 p.m. at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

The 2026 edition represents a major expansion for the World Cup, growing from 32 to 48 teams and increasing the total number of matches from 64 to 104. The group stage runs through June 27, followed by the round of 32 from June 28 to July 3. The round of 16 takes place from July 4 to July 7, the quarterfinals from July 9 to July 11, and the semifinals on July 14 and July 15. The tournament concludes with the third-place match on July 18 and the final on July 19.
