Lindsay Hubbard Warns West Wilson to Clean Up His Act After Calling Him “Trash”

Lindsay Hubbard is publicly criticizing her “Summer House” co-star West Wilson after comments he made on his podcast about an upcoming Bravo bonus episode. On Instagram’s Threads, Hubbard called Wilson “trash” and accused him of trying to discourage viewers from watching the show, which she said she helped build as one of the series’ original cast members since its 2017 debut.

The dispute began after Wilson discussed the timing of the special episode on his “Show Me Something” podcast. During the episode, he said he hoped the San Antonio Spurs would defeat the New York Knicks in order to avoid a scheduling conflict that would put the basketball game against the “Summer House” bonus episode airing on Tuesday, June 16. He joked that if the Spurs won, he would celebrate and “pop champagne,” while also saying he would be happiest if the Knicks won in a way that cleared the show’s time slot.

Hubbard responded strongly on social media, alleging that Wilson had attempted to threaten her career multiple times. In her post, she said he had tried to undermine both her and the show, and claimed he once commented on her future on “Summer House” after she gave birth to her daughter, Gemma, saying she no longer fit the series. Hubbard described the behavior as “disgusting” and said there was no other way to characterize it.

The reaction came as Bravo prepares to air the bonus episode, which includes conversations between Wilson and Kyle Cooke, Hubbard and Amanda Batula, and Ciara Miller with Wilson’s ex-girlfriend, Meija. The episode arrives after season 10 has already concluded, but the extra installment has drawn attention because of the ongoing tension among cast members.

Bravo host Andy Cohen also addressed Wilson’s remarks on “Radio Andy,” saying he understood why Wilson might think that way but would not necessarily have said it publicly. Cohen noted that many people might have shared the same private opinion, even if they would avoid making such comments on a podcast.

Wilson has already faced criticism from viewers and castmates after confirming a romantic relationship with Batula, a development that became especially controversial because of his history with Miller, Batula’s former close friend. The relationship sparked widespread speculation online, and Wilson and Batula later issued a joint statement acknowledging the attention while explaining that they had not intended to hide anything. They said the connection was new, unexpected, and had developed over time, but that they wanted privacy while they processed it.

The fallout continued during the three-part reunion, where several cast members confronted Wilson and Batula over the impact their relationship could have on the group dynamic and on the future of the show. Miller was among the most vocal critics, accusing Batula of being part of an effort to provoke jealousy and saying Wilson was with her to spite her.

The latest exchange adds another layer to the tense post-season drama surrounding “Summer House,” as personal relationships, public remarks, and cast conflicts continue to fuel debate among fans ahead of the bonus episode.
