Brooklyn Beckham Kept the Door Closed When Sister Harper Visited His Los Angeles Mansion

Brooklyn Beckham was in New York City on Friday when his younger sister, Harper Beckham, made an unannounced visit to his Los Angeles mansion, according to social media posts and photos obtained by Page Six. The 27-year-old media personality shared an Instagram Story of himself on a run in New York, indicating he was not at home when Harper arrived in Beverly Hills around 2 p.m. PT. Harper, 14, had just attended the ceremony honoring their father, David Beckham, with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles earlier that day.
Sources told Page Six that Harper briefly stopped by Brooklyn’s home but left almost immediately because neither Brooklyn nor his wife, Nicola Peltz, was present. A representative for Brooklyn and Peltz said the scene appeared staged, claiming photographers were already in place when the letter was delivered and calling the moment “choreographed for the cameras.” Representatives for David and Victoria Beckham did not immediately comment.
The family gathering came only hours after David Beckham, 51, was honored in Hollywood and publicly thanked his family during his acceptance speech. He praised Victoria Beckham, 52, and their children, saying they were central to his success and motivation. Victoria, Harper, Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 21, attended the event, while Brooklyn was absent.
Harper’s visit also highlighted the continuing rift between Brooklyn and his parents, David and Victoria Beckham. The tension has been public since Brooklyn posted an Instagram Story in January saying he did not want to reconcile with his family. In that post, he accused his parents of trying to control the media narrative around the family and claimed they had tried to damage his relationship with Peltz. He also alleged that Victoria interrupted his first dance with Peltz at their 2022 wedding.
Despite the strained relationship, Brooklyn’s siblings have continued to show support online. Harper posted a Valentine’s Day photo of herself with her brothers and wrote that she loved them all. Family sources have said David and Victoria have repeatedly tried to arrange a meeting with Brooklyn and Peltz, but those efforts have not succeeded. In April, insiders said the couple had offered to meet their estranged son and daughter-in-law wherever they wished.
Brooklyn has also distanced himself physically and symbolically from the Beckham family. He missed David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration last year and has covered up tattoos that once honored his parents and siblings. One tribute to his father was replaced with an anchor, while the words “Mum” and his siblings’ names were covered with new designs.
The brief attempted reunion between Harper and Brooklyn underscores the ongoing family divide, even as the rest of the Beckham family continues public efforts to show unity.
