PM Kisan 23rd Installment May Be Delayed: Complete These 3 Mandatory Tasks Now

Millions of farmers receive financial support every year under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme, which provides Rs 6,000 annually in direct income assistance. The amount is paid in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each and is transferred directly to the bank accounts of eligible beneficiaries. As farmers await the next installment, the government has reminded them that completing certain formalities on time is essential to avoid any delay in payment.

The most important requirement is e-KYC, which has been made mandatory for continuing the benefits of the scheme. Farmers can complete this process through the official online portal, a mobile app, or by visiting the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC). The government has also stressed that the Aadhaar details must be correctly linked with the bank account so that the subsidy reaches the intended beneficiary without interruption.

In addition to e-KYC and Aadhaar-bank linking, land verification is another key step under the scheme. This verification is meant to ensure that only eligible farmers receive the financial assistance. In states where land verification has been implemented, farmers are advised to update their documents in time and make sure all records are accurate and complete.

Officials have made it clear that incomplete information, mismatched records, or pending verification can lead to a hold on the installment. Any error in the beneficiary details may prevent the payment from being credited on schedule. Farmers who have not yet completed the required formalities are therefore being urged to do so as soon as possible.

The PM-Kisan scheme has become a major source of support for small and marginal farmers across the country. Since the assistance is sent directly to bank accounts, timely compliance with the required procedures is crucial for uninterrupted benefits. The government’s emphasis on verification and document accuracy is aimed at reducing errors and ensuring that the scheme reaches the rightful recipients.

With the next installment expected by beneficiaries, farmers are being advised to check their PM-Kisan status, verify their records, and complete e-KYC and other pending requirements without delay. Doing so will help avoid complications and improve the chances of receiving the payment on time.
