1.3 Million Fans Flood Online Queue as BTS Kuala Lumpur Presale Kicks Off

KUALA LUMPUR, June 3 — Around 1.3 million online users were reportedly in the queue for the official ARMY membership presale for the upcoming BTS World Tour “Arirang” in Kuala Lumpur, according to figures shown in the waiting room on ticketing platform GoLive Asia. The huge number of users quickly became a talking point among BTS fans, known as ARMY, who shared their reactions on social media as they prepared for the first round of ticket sales.

Many local fans expressed frustration over the heavy traffic and the long wait, while others posted screenshots of their positions in the queue and described their hopes of securing tickets. Several users said they had logged in early, with some entering the waiting room as early as 9am even though the presale was only scheduled to begin at 11am. Fans also shared images of multiple devices being used at once, including laptops and phones, as part of their ticket-buying strategy.

Some supporters gathered at cyber cafes to improve their chances of getting into the sale smoothly. Posts on X and Threads showed groups of ARMY fans waiting together, while others uploaded photos and messages of encouragement and prayer in hopes that the ticketing process would go well. The atmosphere online reflected both excitement and anxiety, with many fans treating the presale like a major competitive event.

At the same time, social media users noted that some ticketing service providers were also active online, offering assistance to fans trying to secure seats. This added to the buzz surrounding the sale, as demand appeared to be extremely high ahead of the concert.

The official ARMY Membership Presale began on June 3 and ran from 11am to 10pm. A Trip.Com presale is scheduled for Thursday, June 4, from 9am to 11.59pm, followed by a Live Nation Membership presale on the same day from 11am to 10pm. The general onsale is set for Friday, June 5, starting at 11am.

The BTS World Tour “Arirang” concerts in Kuala Lumpur are scheduled for December 12 and December 13 at TM National Stadium in Bukit Jalil. The strong online turnout for the presale indicates intense interest in the show, with fans across Malaysia and beyond preparing for what many expect to be a highly competitive ticket release.
