What’s Coming to Disney+ in July 2026 in the US

Disney+ will add several notable originals in the United States throughout July 2026, with a mix of returning favorites, exclusive episodes, and live music coverage. The month begins on July 1 with the premiere of X-Men ’97 Season 2, which continues the story of the mutant team as they are scattered across different eras in time. As the X-Men try to find their way back home, the 1990s setting they left behind is facing growing mutant intolerance and new enemies. The new season is expected to continue the animated series’ blend of action, nostalgia, and character-driven storytelling.
On July 3, Disney+ will debut an exclusive new Simpsons episode titled Simpsley. The noir-style story follows Marge Bouvier, who is sent to Italy as a penniless con artist trying to persuade wealthy sap Seymour Skinner to return home. The episode puts a comedic spin on crime-drama tropes, with Homer Simpsley complicating Marge’s efforts as a clingy and foolish houseguest. The special is positioned as a Disney+ exclusive and adds to the platform’s ongoing collection of Simpsons content.
Mid-month, Disney+ subscribers will also see Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro on July 14 via Hulu. Hosted by wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin, the series follows 12 promising dancers who live together and go through an intense audition process while competing for a chance to become a pro dancer on Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars. The competition will be judged by Mark Ballas and Shirley Ballas, with additional returning professionals appearing as rotating mentors and guest judges. More details about those participants will be announced later.
Toward the end of the month, Disney+ and Hulu will stream Lollapalooza – Day 1 on July 30. The annual four-day music festival takes place in Chicago’s Grant Park and will include livestreamed performances for viewers. In addition to the concerts, both services will bring back the Live Set, an on-site studio at the festival featuring artist interviews and behind-the-scenes coverage throughout the weekend. The studio will have an updated design this year.
The schedule also notes that new episodes of What You Need To Know and SC+ will be released every weekday during the month, giving subscribers a steady stream of short-form content alongside the bigger premieres. The July lineup is not final and may change as more titles are announced. Availability may also differ by country, and some Hulu titles may not be included through Hulu on Disney+ because of licensing restrictions.
