80s Heavy Metal Band Announces 2026 Tour With Special Guests

Armored Saint has announced a new U.S. tour following the release of its ninth studio album, Emotion Factory Reset. The veteran heavy metal band, led by vocalist John Bush and featuring bassist Joey Vera, guitarists Phil Sandoval and Jeff Duncan, and drummer Gonzo Sandoval, shared the news with fans on Instagram as excitement builds around the album and the band’s return to the road.
The upcoming run, titled The Metal Saint Tour 2026, will begin in November and feature Armored Saint co-headlining with Metal Church. The tour brings together two enduring names from 1980s heavy metal, with both bands arriving behind freshly released albums. Metal Church is supporting Dead To Rights, while Armored Saint is promoting Emotion Factory Reset.
The tour opens with two California dates before moving across the western United States, including stops in Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and British Columbia. The band will then return to California for a final string of shows in mid-November. Scheduled venues include Coach House in San Juan Capistrano on Nov. 2, The Glass House in Pomona on Nov. 3, The Nile in Phoenix on Nov. 4, Sunshine Theatre in Albuquerque on Nov. 6, Sunshine Studios in Colorado Springs on Nov. 7 and The Federal in Denver on Nov. 8.
Additional dates on the itinerary include Neurolux in Boise on Nov. 10, The Newberry in Great Falls on Nov. 11, Dante’s in Portland on Nov. 13, Redwood Theatre in Bremerton on Nov. 14, Rickshaw Theatre in Vancouver on Nov. 15, Great American Music Hall in San Francisco on Nov. 17, Goldfield Trading Post in Roseville on Nov. 18, The Whisky in Los Angeles on Nov. 19, Observatory North San Diego on Nov. 20 and Canyon Club in Agoura Hills on Nov. 21.
Armored Saint’s John Bush teased the tour by emphasizing the appeal of seeing two classic metal bands on the same bill, each playing headline sets and each armed with a new record. He urged metal fans not to miss the show when it reaches their city, underscoring the event as a celebration of both legacy and new music.
Special guest Live Kill will join the tour, adding a thrash metal element to the lineup. The announcement has generated attention among fans of traditional heavy metal, particularly those who have followed Armored Saint’s long career and their continued presence on the touring circuit.
With a new album out and a full slate of live dates ahead, Armored Saint is positioning 2026 as a major year for the band. The combination of fresh material, a classic lineup and a co-headlining tour with Metal Church gives longtime fans a rare chance to see two influential acts share the stage across North America.
