2026 AFC North Wide Receiver Positional Rankings

The AFC North entered the 2026 offseason with every team trying to strengthen its roster through free agency and the NFL draft, and wide receiver emerged as one of the most interesting position groups to evaluate across the division. While more moves could still happen before the season begins, the main parts of each team’s receiving corps are now largely in place, making it easier to compare who has the deepest and most dangerous group heading into 2026.

Cincinnati remains the standard at the position. The Bengals feature one of the NFL’s best receiver tandems in Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, a pairing that gives the offense elite playmaking and consistency. Even with Joe Burrow missing much of the 2025 season, both receivers continued to produce at a high level. Chase finished among the league leaders in receptions and receiving yards, while Higgins delivered a career-best 11 touchdown catches. Andrei Iosivas has also developed into a reliable No. 3 option, giving Cincinnati a strong three-wideout foundation and solid depth behind it.

Pittsburgh made one of the biggest moves of the offseason by adding veteran Michael Pittman to pair with D.K. Metcalf. Pittman has been a steady and productive receiver since entering the league in 2020, regularly posting strong reception and yardage totals. He is not viewed as a deep-ball specialist, but his skill set fits well alongside Metcalf’s big-play ability. The Steelers also added Germie Bernard in the draft, and the rookie has the versatility and polish to contribute quickly. With Pittman and Metcalf leading the way, Pittsburgh’s receiving group looks significantly more balanced and threatening than it did a year ago.

Baltimore’s receiver room is built around Zay Flowers, who became the clear focal point of the passing game in 2025. Flowers was targeted far more than any other Ravens receiver and responded with career-best production, showing signs that he could become one of the division’s top wideouts. For Baltimore to climb higher in the rankings, Rashod Bateman will need to rebound after a disappointing season, and Devontez Walker could emerge as an important third option if he earns a larger role. The Ravens also added Jakobi Lane and Elijah Sarratt in the draft, giving the room more size and contested-catch ability.

Cleveland may have added more youth than any other AFC North team, but its wide receiver group still carries the most uncertainty. Jerry Jeudy is the veteran anchor, yet he is coming off one of the least productive seasons of his career, with modest numbers in catches, yards and touchdowns. The Browns addressed the lack of playmaking by selecting KC Concepion in the first round and Denzel Boston in the second. Both rookies are expected to play early and could be essential to the offense’s growth, especially with questions surrounding the quarterback position and the team’s overall passing attack.

Overall, the AFC North wide receiver rankings are led by Cincinnati, followed by Pittsburgh, Baltimore and Cleveland.
