Your Privacy Settings

Yahoo says privacy is important and explains that its websites and apps use cookies and related technologies to provide services, authenticate users, improve security, prevent spam and abuse, and measure usage. The company notes that Yahoo is part of the Yahoo brand family and that, if users accept all settings, Yahoo and its partners — including 248 organizations in the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework — may store or access information on a device. This can include cookies, precise geolocation data, technical identifiers, and browsing or search activity.

According to the notice, this data may be used for analytics, personalized advertising and content, ad and content measurement, audience research, and service development. Users who do not want Yahoo and its partners to use cookies and personal data for these additional purposes can choose “Reject all.” Those who want more control can open privacy settings to customize their choices.

Yahoo says consent can be withdrawn or changed at any time through the privacy and cookie settings links or the privacy dashboard available on its sites and apps. The notice also points users to Yahoo’s Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for more information about how personal data is collected and used.
