Suki Waterhouse Announces New Album Loveland

Suki Waterhouse has announced a new album titled Loveland, marking the beginning of a new creative era following the release of her recent single “Back In Love.” The album is scheduled for release on July 10 via Island Records. Waterhouse also confirmed that a new song, “Tiny Raising,” will arrive this Friday, April 24.

In a statement about the project, Waterhouse described Loveland as a reflection on the space between her former self and the person she is becoming now. She explained that the album explores the contrast between a past identity shaped by romance, fantasy, and momentum, and a present self searching for something more steady, intimate, and honest. She said that motherhood has deepened that divide, creating a feeling of transformation while still carrying parts of her old self.

Waterhouse expanded on those themes in a new Vogue feature, saying the album includes songs about major personal changes happening at once, including success in her relationship and career alongside the arrival of a baby. She said some songs were written in a direct, diary-like way, capturing the emotional distance that can come with shared success, travel, and time apart. At the same time, she noted that the record also contains moments of joy and gratitude.

A press release said Waterhouse made Loveland with a strong team of collaborators, including Amy Allen, Aaron Dessner, Joel Little, Dan Wilson, Jules Apollinaire, and Natalie Findlay. According to the release, the album focuses on tension, identity, and the emotional fractures that can come with change and self-discovery.

Loveland continues Waterhouse’s evolving sound and personal storytelling, building on the momentum of “Back In Love” and setting the stage for her next chapter as both an artist and a new mother.
