RHOC alum Kelly Dodd charged in revenge porn case, faces possible jail time: report

Kelly Dodd, a former cast member of “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” is reportedly facing serious legal accusations after prosecutors alleged she shared intimate footage of a woman without consent and is now confronting possible jail time. According to court documents obtained by TMZ and reported Wednesday, Dodd, 50, is accused of recording footage of a female engaged in sex and masturbation without permission and later distributing it in August 2025. Prosecutors say the alleged actions caused the victim, identified in court papers as Jane Doe, severe emotional distress.

The documents also allege that Dodd contacted the woman and threatened to harm her, her property, and her family. Page Six said it reached out to Dodd for comment but did not receive an immediate response. TMZ reported that the revenge porn accusation is not the only legal issue Dodd is facing. She is also said to be dealing with a separate battery charge tied to an alleged incident in June 2025 involving a different person. As a result, she is reportedly facing three misdemeanor charges.

Despite the allegations, Dodd did not publicly address the reports on her social media on Wednesday. Instead, she continued posting promotional content to Instagram, including a workout tank top and an outfit for pickleball. Dodd has not commented directly on the claims in the posts reviewed by the outlet.

Dodd appeared on Bravo’s “RHOC” for five seasons, from 2016 to 2021, and has remained a public figure since leaving the show. She married former Fox News correspondent Rick Leventhal in October 2020. Leventhal is her third husband. Before that, she was married to Michael Dodd from 2006 to 2018, with whom she shares a daughter, Jolie, and to Scott Silva from 2001 to 2004.

The latest reports add to a series of recent personal controversies surrounding Dodd. In November, a leaked voicemail she reportedly left for her then-19-year-old daughter went viral on social media. In the recording, Dodd was heard angrily criticizing Jolie, calling her a “dumb little girl” and accusing her of blocking communication. The voicemail also included insults directed at Dodd’s ex-husband, Michael Dodd, and threats to release recordings she claimed to have of Jolie arguing with him. Dodd later acknowledged that she had been screaming in the voicemail and said the confrontation stemmed from an earlier family dispute, but she defended herself in a TikTok video.

As the legal process continues, Dodd is now facing mounting scrutiny over both the criminal allegations and her recent public behavior.
