Lara Trump Reveals Donald Trump’s Height

Donald Trump’s claimed height is once again under scrutiny after a promotional video posted by Lara Trump on Friday, May 29, showed the president appearing nearly the same height as his daughter-in-law, who is listed at 5-foot-11. The clip was shared to promote her program, My View With Lara Trump, and included footage of the two standing together during an interview, along with scenes from Trump’s planned $400 million White House ballroom project. Viewers quickly focused on the apparent lack of a height difference, prompting renewed speculation about whether Trump is actually 6-foot-3 as officially stated.
Lara Trump has previously joked on her podcast, The Right View, that marrying into the Trump family meant joining a “family of tall people.” Her husband, Eric Trump, is reportedly 6-foot-5, and Lara has said that at family gatherings everyone appears “normal height.” But in images and video with Donald Trump, she does not seem noticeably shorter, which has fueled public debate over the president’s real stature.
This is not the first time Trump’s height has been questioned. Earlier in May, photos from his visit to China showed Lara standing nearly level with him while Eric appeared taller than both. Last year, during Trump’s state visit to Britain, photographs taken at Windsor Castle showed Prince William, who is also reportedly 6-foot-3, appearing clearly taller than Trump. Those comparisons have added to the long-running uncertainty surrounding the president’s listed height.
Trump’s official records have also been inconsistent over the years. His latest annual physical listed him at 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds, while a copy of his driver’s license obtained by Politico in 2016 listed him as 6-foot-2. That discrepancy has contributed to ongoing skepticism about whether his current height matches the figure he has publicly claimed.
Health experts note that height typically decreases with age. The Mayo Clinic says that as people get older, changes in the bones, joints, and spinal discs can cause gradual height loss. In Trump’s case, that medical reality has only intensified attention on photos and videos that seem to suggest he may be shorter than advertised.
