Six Streets in Wales Win Postcode Lottery Prize

Six streets in Wales celebrated £1,000 wins in the People’s Postcode Lottery after Thursday’s draw on June 4, with winning postcodes spread across Milford Haven, Swansea, Cwmavon, Chepstow, Wrexham and Barry. The prize was shared among residents in six different streets, while another 14 postcodes across the UK also received payouts. No postcode hit the £1 million jackpot in this draw.
The winning Welsh streets were Westfield Close in Milford Haven, Glynrhosyn in Gorseinon, Swansea, Depot Road in Cwmavon, Vauxhall Road in Chepstow, Rydal Court in Wrexham and Heritage Drive in Barry. Each winning postcode received a £1,000 boost as part of the daily lottery competition.
The People’s Postcode Lottery gives players the chance to win prizes based on their postcode while also supporting charitable causes. According to the lottery, 33% of every £12 monthly subscription goes to good causes. Participants sign up using their postcode and are then automatically entered into daily draws, creating regular opportunities for both winnings and charity support.
Thursday’s results added to a pattern of frequent small wins across the UK, with Wales represented in several parts of the country in the latest round. The prize money was welcomed by households in the winning streets, offering a financial boost for residents taking part in the scheme.
The People’s Postcode Lottery operates as a subscription-based prize draw that combines entertainment with fundraising. While the jackpot remained unclaimed on this occasion, the draw still delivered multiple smaller wins, including six in Wales, highlighting the spread of prizes across different communities.
In total, the draw saw six Welsh streets take home £1,000 each, underscoring the lottery’s daily prize model and its reach across local areas.
