Jennifer Lopez Covers Ben Affleck Infinity Symbol Tattoo After Divorce

Jennifer Lopez appeared to have altered the tattoo she once shared as a tribute to Ben Affleck during Memorial Day weekend, signaling that another visible remnant of their relationship may now be gone. In a social media post featuring time spent with her son Max, Lopez wore a white crochet Antica Sartoria dress and briefly revealed the infinity-symbol tattoo on her ribs. The design looked familiar, but the portion that once contained Affleck’s name appeared to have been covered or changed.

The tattoo was originally created as a matching tribute after Lopez and Affleck resumed their romance, with both stars getting coordinated ink in February 2023. Lopez’s version featured an infinity symbol with both names, while Affleck had matching body art with their initials. The couple later married in July 2022 before filing for divorce in August 2024.

Speculation about the tattoo’s fate had circulated for months. Last year, some fans believed Lopez had started the removal process, while others suggested she had simply concealed the design with makeup during performances and public appearances. In December, observers pointed to a stage look in which the tattoo seemed less visible, though it was unclear whether that was due to laser removal, makeup, or lighting.

The Memorial Day images added fresh attention because the tattoo was partially visible again, but with a noticeable difference. The overall outline remained similar, yet the section that once identified Affleck seemed to have been reworked. Lopez did not directly address the change, instead captioning the post, “Spending the day with the people I love,” alongside photos that also included a white string bikini look.

The updated tattoo appears to mark a symbolic closing chapter in the former couple’s relationship. Their highly public reunion, engagement, marriage, and eventual split kept Bennifer in the spotlight for years, and their matching tattoos were once seen as a sign of lasting commitment. Now, the altered design suggests Lopez may be moving on in a more permanent way.

Fans have also speculated that the cover-up could involve a hummingbird, a symbol often associated with Lopez and one of her personal talismans. Whether that detail is part of the final design remains unclear, but the changes indicate that the original tribute has likely been transformed.

With the couple’s divorce filed in 2024 and Lopez’s tattoo now visibly different, the body art has become another public sign of the end of one of Hollywood’s most closely watched relationships.
