How to Watch Caitlin Clark Play the Portland Fire

The Portland Fire are set to host the Indiana Fever on May 30 at Moda Center in Portland, giving local fans a chance to see one of the WNBA’s most popular players, Caitlin Clark, in person. Clark has become a major attraction in the league after her standout college career and fast rise in the WNBA, and her presence is expected to draw a strong crowd for the matchup.

Both teams enter the game with matching 3-2 records, adding to the significance of the contest early in the season. Portland’s lone previous meeting with Indiana this year ended in a 90-73 loss for the Fire at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on May 20. Clark did not play in that game after being ruled out shortly before tipoff because of back soreness, so the May 30 meeting offers a different storyline if she is available.

Interest in the game has also been reflected in ticket demand. Fans can buy tickets through major resale platforms such as Ticketmaster, SeatGeek and StubHub. As of May 22, some seats on the 300 level of Moda Center were listed for as low as $41, while 100-level tickets were available starting around $139. With Clark expected to be a major draw, prices may continue to vary depending on demand and seat location.

For fans who cannot attend in person, several viewing options will be available. Portland Fire games can be streamed through the team’s dedicated service, Portland Fire+, which offers a one-month pass for $5.99 or a one-year subscription for $59.99. The game will also be available on Paramount+, giving subscribers another way to watch live.

Local television coverage will be provided by RoseCitySportsnet, the sports broadcast partnership between KPTV and the Fire and Thorns. The channel is available over the air on 49.1 and on Channel 13 in most Portland and Salem-area markets. In addition, the game will be broadcast on radio in Portland on 910 AM KMTT, expanding access for fans who prefer to follow the action through audio coverage.

The May 30 game is shaping up to be one of the more notable early-season events for the expansion Portland franchise. The combination of a strong home start, a competitive Indiana team and the possibility of seeing Clark on the floor has heightened anticipation around the matchup. Whether attending at Moda Center, watching on streaming platforms or tuning in through local broadcast outlets, fans will have multiple ways to follow the Fire-Fever game as Portland continues its inaugural WNBA season.
