Faustine Bollaert met déjà fin à son émission sur RTL

French television host Faustine Bollaert is expected to end her daily morning radio show on RTL at the close of the current season, after only one season in the slot. According to reports cited by Le Parisien, the 47-year-old presenter, who already has a busy schedule across France Télévisions, has chosen to reduce her workload and step away from the station’s weekday mornings.
Bollaert has hosted the testimony-based program “Un jour, une vie” since September, but her departure is linked to a broader decision to slow down. She is still expected to remain associated with RTL, part of the M6 group, although in a less demanding role. Discussions are reportedly underway for her to move to a weekend time slot, keeping her on the station’s airwaves without the pressure of a weekday morning show.
The presenter’s schedule is already crowded with several television commitments. She continues to host “Ça commence aujourd’hui,” the popular daily show built around personal stories and testimony. She also appears in “Les Enfants de la télé,” where she succeeded Laurence Boccolini, and remains involved in France 2’s year-end talent program “Prodiges” as well as France 3’s “La boîte à secrets.” In addition, Bollaert has expanded into digital content with her podcast “Safe Zone,” available on the public broadcaster’s Slash platform.
Despite this already demanding workload, Bollaert had accepted RTL’s offer to launch a new interactive testimony program for weekday mornings between 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. The show attracted an average audience of around 860,000 listeners between January and March, but that figure represented a decline of 50,500 compared with the previous audience wave. By contrast, the final half-hour of “RTL matin” reached 1.09 million listeners during the same period a year earlier, highlighting a drop in performance for the new segment.
RTL is also restructuring its daytime schedule ahead of the next season. The station recently announced that Céline Landreau will take over the morning show, replacing Thomas Sotto. Landreau, who currently delivers the 6:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. news bulletins, has been promoted internally, in line with the wishes of RTL chief David Larramendy. Her appointment makes her the first woman to host the RTL morning show alone.
Bollaert’s likely exit from the daily slot comes as the station continues to reshape its programming after a series of changes in its flagship morning lineup. Even if she leaves the weekday schedule, her ongoing relationship with RTL appears set to continue in a lighter format, preserving her presence on the radio while accommodating her increasingly full television and digital commitments.
