Bivol, who enters the fight with a record of 24-1-0, is making his comeback after 15 months away from boxing while recovering from a back injury sustained in February 2025. The matchup marks a homecoming for the Russian champion and a notable test against Eifert, who comes in at 13-1-0 and has been climbing the ranks during Bivol’s absence. Eifert is known for an aggressive style built on volume punching and a busy jab, while Bivol is recognized for his patience, precision and ability to gradually break down opponents.
