Corey Feldman Rushed to Hospital After In-Flight Emergency on Chicago-to-LAX Flight

Corey Feldman was hospitalized after a medical emergency following a flight from Chicago to Los Angeles on Monday, June 15. According to TMZ, the 54-year-old actor began feeling ill while in the air, and a doctor on board reportedly suspected pancreatitis, inflammation, or gallstones. When the plane landed at LAX, paramedics met Feldman at the gate, and he was then transported to a hospital for further evaluation.

A spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that he was taken for additional medical assessment after the airport response. TMZ reported that Feldman is still undergoing tests. Pancreatitis is an inflammation of the pancreas, an organ that helps digest food and regulate blood sugar, and can cause pain and other complications if inflamed.

Feldman had been in the Midwest as part of the Stand By Me Live Tour in Chicago. Shortly before the medical incident, he also posted on Instagram about stopping in Gary, Indiana, where he visited the former family home of Michael Jackson. In the post, he described the stop as a show of respect to “the Jacksons” at the home address on Jackson Street in Gary.

The hospitalization comes after Feldman made headlines earlier this year for commenting on not being included in the Rob Reiner tribute at the 2026 Oscars. Feldman, best known for his role in Stand By Me, has remained active with public appearances and performances tied to the film’s legacy.
