Celebrity Vasectomies: Ashton Kutcher, Kane Brown, and Tristan Thompson Speak Out

Khloe Kardashian said she played a direct role in Tristan Thompson’s decision to get a vasectomy, calling it a quick solution after the retired NBA player said he already had “enough baby mamas.” On the May 28 episode of her podcast Khloe in Wonder Land, Khloe jokingly took credit for helping shape the decision, saying, “Who helped you fix that decision? That was me,” and adding that Tristan “may have had a little ultimatum” from her.

Khloe, who shares daughter True, 8, and son Tatum, 3, with Tristan Thompson, spoke openly about the topic while discussing his choice to be “getting neutered,” as the athlete described it. Tristan, who is also father to son Prince, 9, with Jordan Craig and son Theo, 4, with Maralee Nichols, said the procedure itself was brief and not as intimidating as it might sound. He explained that the vasectomy took about 15 minutes and described it as a fast medical procedure.

Despite downplaying the experience, Tristan made it clear he does not plan to reverse the vasectomy. When the subject came up, he said he is not interested in undergoing the process again, adding that he is not “laying down on that table again.” His comments suggested he is content with the decision and does not want any more children.

The conversation highlighted the co-parenting dynamic between Khloe and Tristan, who have remained connected through their two children even after their relationship ended. Khloe’s remarks were delivered in a light, joking tone, but they also made clear that the decision was a serious one for both of them. Tristan’s comments about already having three children with different mothers and being done having more were central to the exchange.

The podcast discussion comes as Khloe continues to speak candidly about her personal life, motherhood, and family relationships on her show. Her comments about Tristan’s vasectomy added a new layer to the public’s understanding of how the former couple navigates major parenting and family planning decisions. While the exchange was humorous, it underscored that the pair have had direct conversations about responsibility, boundaries, and the future of their family.

Khloe and Tristan have had an on-and-off relationship over the years, but they continue to co-parent True and Tatum. Their latest podcast conversation showed that, even as former partners, they remain willing to talk openly about private matters when it comes to their children and their lives after romance.
