90s Rock Band Announces 20th Anniversary Tour Dates

Boris, the influential Japanese rock-metal band that rose to prominence in the 1990s, has announced a European and U.K. tour to mark the 20th anniversary of its ninth studio album, Pink. The news was shared on Thursday through the band’s Instagram account and quickly drew an enthusiastic response from fans. Titled the Do You Remember Pink Days? tour, the run is scheduled to begin on October 3 in Verona, Italy, and end on November 15 in Brno, Czechia, covering more than 34 cities across Europe and the U.K. this fall.

The tour is being organized as a celebration of Pink, which was released in North America on May 16, 2006. The album is widely viewed as a turning point in Boris’ career and a record that helped push the group from underground recognition toward broader critical acclaim within the metal scene. By revisiting the album two decades later, the band is highlighting one of the most important milestones in its catalog and giving longtime listeners a chance to experience the material live again.

American post-metal artist Planning For Burial will join Boris as support on select dates during the tour. The pairing adds another heavy, atmospheric act to the lineup and broadens the appeal of the upcoming run for fans of experimental and post-metal music. The announcement was met with strong excitement online, with supporters expressing anticipation for shows in cities including Brno, Milan, Madrid, Barcelona, and London.

The tour itinerary spans a wide range of venues and countries, including Italy, Slovenia, Austria, the United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Poland, Latvia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Czechia. Early stops include Verona and Milan before the band heads through Central Europe and then into the U.K. for a string of shows in Bristol, Newcastle, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, London, and Brighton. The European leg continues with additional dates in Belgium, France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Poland, the Baltic region, and Scandinavia before wrapping in Brno.

Fans responding to the announcement celebrated the long-awaited return of the band to several cities. Comments on the Instagram post reflected excitement over the tour’s routing and the chance to see Boris perform material associated with Pink, an album many listeners consider one of the group’s defining works. Tickets for the Do You Remember Pink Days? tour are available now through the band’s official website.

Boris has built a reputation over decades for blending heavy rock, doom, drone, and experimental elements into a sound that has influenced a wide range of listeners and musicians.
