Circle of Hope Cancer Support Center Unveils June 2026 Calendar of Events

Circle of Hope Cancer Support Center in Santa Clarita announced its June schedule of free wellness classes, support groups, and one-on-one therapies for people affected by cancer, including current patients, survivors, family members, friends, and caregivers. The nonprofit said all programs are designed to provide emotional, educational, and practical support and are offered at no charge through its Wellness Center. Reservations are required for all services.
The organization, which has served the Santa Clarita cancer community for more than 20 years, said its mission is to help participants feel supported during treatment and recovery. Circle of Hope emphasized that its services are meant to complement a patient’s healthcare plan, not replace conventional medical care. Safety protocols, including masking and social distancing, remain in place for the health of clients, staff, and volunteers. Depending on the class, some activities may be held outdoors or at a local park.
The June calendar includes a mix of therapeutic and enrichment offerings. Recurring services include the Medical Massage Chair by appointment only on multiple dates, peer-led support groups, therapist-led support groups, gentle yoga, qigong for relaxation and healing, and Creative Expressions Group sessions held on Zoom. Other scheduled programs include Structured Effective Venting with founder Asha Blanchard, Mood Recipe™ sessions, Skin Care for Cancer Warriors, coloring for relaxation, back care and restorative yoga, healing touch, and a variety of arts-and-crafts workshops.
Special events in June include a Book Club Movie Night on June 1 featuring Remarkably Bright Creatures starring Sally Field, a Summer Luau Bingo event on June 10, and Double Scoop of Hope, a fundraiser at Ben & Jerry’s on June 11. The calendar also features new classes such as Learn to Watercolor Paint and Holding Space: A Journaling Practice, along with creative sessions like diamond painting, flower arranging, and the meditative art of jewelry making.
Circle of Hope said its programs are available to current cancer patients, survivors, and those who support them, with both in-person and Zoom options available for selected groups. The center encouraged the community to visit its website for class and program descriptions. Volunteers, donors, sponsors, and anyone seeking more information may contact the organization by phone or email. Circle of Hope is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization serving the Santa Clarita area.
